This fall, 2016, the Millcreek Restoration Project will begin focusing
on the lowest third of the canyon.
The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, working with the U.S. Forest Service will be removing
non-native fish and replacing them with native Bonneville Cutthroat trout. The services will also
continue to restore
our local watershed by enhancing the Millcreek Canyon habitat, all the while, maintaining a safe public
access.
Many sections of the Millcreek stream
are shallow providing good areas to learn angling.*Angling: Fishing with a hook and line, usually attached to a rod.
